Submission Guidelines

We are accepting submissions for our Blog.

Call for Blog Post

Submission on a rolling basis; no last date.

  1. Blog post: (800-2000) words

Topic Areas: Civil Law / Criminal Law / Corporate Law / Dispute Resolution or other contemporary topics having extreme relevance in present day and time.

We do not encourage topics that are general and broad in nature, of which have been extensively covered in the past by other fora. We recommend authors to write on topics that are recent, having significant questions & point of research.

General formatting guidelines:

(a) Font: Times New Roman , Size: 12 , Line Spacing: 1.5, Justified | Kindly add all your references as Hyperlinks OR End Notes Only. Footnotes are not allowed.

(b) Authors must comply with “Harvard Blue Book 20th Ed.” formatting guidelines. Submissions without requisite formatting may be summarily rejected.

(c) Submissions should contain ‘Hyperlink’ or ‘End-Note’ only.

(d) All Submissions made should be Original and unpublished in nature. Every author will be asked to sign an originality declaration form.

(e) We encourage personal analysis and thoughts. References/citations if any, should not exceed 10% of the text. Our Journal follows a strict plagiarism check.

(Incorrect formatting shall lead to summary rejection)

(f) Submissions must be made in .doc/.docx format only. (PDF will not be accepted.)

(g) Submissions must be made via. email to lexinsight2018@gmail.com with the subject of email as “Submission for Blog”.

(h) Authors have mention the following ‘FULL NAME, COLLEGE OR ORGANISATION AFFILIATION DETAILS, YEAR OF STUDY, TITLE OF THE SUBMISSION‘ in the body of the email alongside the submission as an attachment.

(i) Upto 02 authors can contribute in a blog.

(j) Word limit mentioned is indicatory and not exhaustive. The Editorial Board has the final discretion to accept/reject articles based on the compliance with word limit.

(k) Submissions outside the purview of the theme of this Call for Blog, as mentioned above in ‘Topic Areas’, will be rejected.

(l) Article(s) not complying with the submission guidelines will be summarily rejected.

(j) All submissions will under double review. At no stage during this review process, the submission will be considered as accepted. The Editorial Board shall send the Acceptance email at the end of the review process, to all shortlisted submissions..

Receipt of submission shall be conveyed in 02 working days from the date of submission.

Communication of Acceptance/rejection will be sent within one week from the date of submission.

Authors will be asked to make reasonable editorial changes, if required. Due to high volume of submissions, there might be a delay in responses made for any specific queries.
